Oh what a week we’ve had!
First, surrounded by all of the Altris team, supporters and some of our valued clients, we were delighted to be a winner in the IMNZ Business <$5M Turnover Award at the 2015 AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards. We celebrated at a glitzy gala dinner in Auckland attended by more than 600 business leaders and members of the business community.
The award reflects ten years of working closely with fantastic clients throughout New Zealand who let us innovate with them, learn with them and achieve great results together.
And then, a few days later, the Rugby World Cup final. Like most New Zealanders, we are proud supporters of the All Blacks so we got up at 5am, cheered loudly for ‘our’ team and watched in awe as they excelled in the high pressure of finals rugby at Twickenham.
In one of his many interviews after the game, Richie McCaw said that there was a quiet satisfaction in a job well done, rather than “jumping around and going completely nuts” because they expected to win the tournament if they performed to their potential. In the post match media coverage, we did spot a few AllBlacks going nuts, and we did too because the truth is that winning feels good.
